SupplySource, Inc. is celebrating its 25^th anniversary having been founded in 1984 by Ray and Pam Thompson in Williamsport, Pa. The company originally started as an office products business then gradually shifted to selling office furniture. By the early 1990’s almost all of the company sales became office furniture. The growing success in selling office furniture, particularly to the Commonwealth of Pa., led to Herman Miller to approach SupplySource in 1994 to be their contract holder with the State. From 2004 to 2009, SupplySource was the “Best Value Primary Furniture” supplier to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Since becoming an exclusive Herman Miller dealer, SupplySource has experienced substantial growth. The company has become one of the largest full service office furniture dealers in Pa. Currently, it has office locations in Williamsport, Lancaster, Camp Hill, State College, and Johnstown with a combined staff of over 60 employees.

In 2008, SupplySource created a LLC for conducting business in Washington, DC.

SupplySource sells not only Herman Miller products such as the iconic “Aeron” chair, but also interior products from many other manufacturers. The company offers design, space planning, project management, installation, and furniture maintenance services.

SupplySource has received numerous awards from Herman Miller and Global Total Office for its sales, market share, and growth performance over the last 10 years. In 2007, the Small Business Administration awarded Mr. Thompson the U.S. SBA Minority Small Business Person of the Year for Eastern/Central Pa.
